Breaking the Cycle of Abuse: Urgent Support Needed for Survivors

South Africa - Mar 25, 2025 - " A woman's bleeding in my arms. With no health insurance or Medicaid, her first resort isn't the hospital-it's here. The Healing Centre for the Abused." This is the heartbreaking reality for countless women in South Africa facing gender-based violence (GBV).

In South Africa, one woman is killed by her intimate partner every six hours. An alarming 1 in 3 women report experiencing GBV, and 87% of cases occur among women living below the poverty line. Without access to proper support, financial independence, or legal protection, these survivors remain trapped in cycles of abuse.

Healing Through Art & Financial Empowerment

The Wholeful Healing Journey is not just about survival-it's about healing and rebuilding. Our program provides a holistic approach to recovery, combining:

Art Therapy - Survivors use music, dance, and sculpting as therapeutic outlets, helping them process trauma and regain confidence.

Financial Empowerment - Skills training, financial literacy, and small business management provide survivors with the tools they need to break free from economic dependency.

Through these interventions, we help women rediscover their strength, creativity, and independence, ensuring they never have to return to abusive situations.

We Need Your Help - Urgent Funds Required

To keep this life-changing program running, we must raise $9,497. Your support will directly impact survivors by funding:

Braiding & Beauty Training - Helping survivors gain skills for financial independence ($4,200)

Small Business Capital - Providing start-up funds for seamstresses and food vendors ($3,500)

Emergency Support - Covering medical & crisis intervention costs ($543)

Program Logistics & Fees - Keeping classes and operations running smoothly ($1,250)

Act Now - Every Dollar Saves a Life

Your donation directly empowers survivors to escape abuse and build self-sufficient futures. Whether you contribute $10 or $1,000, every dollar makes a difference.

Donate Now | Share Our Story https://gofund.me/94fb4c08

Together, we can break the chains of abuse. Your support is their lifeline.

Hidden Water Damage Is Wrecking Homes in New Jersey - Hassan Restoration Service …
Water damage doesn't always arrive with dramatic flooding. In many New Jersey homes, it starts quietly: a slow leak behind a wall, a damp basement corner after heavy rain, a small appliance line that fails overnight, or a musty smell that won't go away. The longer moisture sits, the more expensive the outcome can become-damaged drywall, warped flooring, weakened materials, and conditions that can support microbial growth. That's why Hassan

“A Distinctive Style” Honors Cancer Survivors and War Hero J.R. Martinez
