The story will be told with a complex new projection called 3D mapping which is rarely seen in the United States due to the complexity of its execution. Most Americans have only seen this quality of visualization at Disney, but it will now be offered in the small town of Gonzales.

Texas Legacy in Lights will be presented on the front of the Gonzales Memorial Museum and viewers will watch a thirty-two-foot by ninety-six-foot, three-dimensional projection of the city's history all in augmented reality. Using cutting-edge 3D projection mapping, technology typically reserved for world-class shows like Disney's EPCOT, this immersive light show will transport visitors back to 1835, when a small group of Texan settlers took their stand against the Mexican army and sparked a revolution.

Many tourists visit Gonzales and are unaware that it is where the Texas Revolution truly began.
