Bavarian Inn Restaurant hosting fun, festive December events

December 5, 2016 – With the Christmas season now in full swing, the Bavarian Inn Restaurant is planning a fun and festive December calendar of holiday events.

Thursday, Dec. 8 is a special day for food and wine lovers as the Bavarian Inn hosts its "Holiday Wine Dinner" beginning at 6:30 p.m. with a five-course gourmet menu designed and prepared by 2012 Silver Plate Award-winning chef, Phil Fahrenbruch. Wine pairings and expert commentary will be presented by the Leelanau Peninsula’s Good Harbor Vineyards and Aurora Cellars. The $60 per person price includes the meal, featured wines, tax and gratuity.

On Wednesday, Dec. 28 at 11 a.m., enjoy lunch, coloring, song and dance activities, and fun photo opportunities with Elsa the Ice Queen and Olaf at the Bavarian Inn’s "Lunch with Elsa" event. The $25 per person price includes the famous Frankenmuth Chicken plate lunch and all activities, tax and gratuity. And don’t forget the camera!

Experience first-hand the tale of "Unlucky Charms" on Dec. 31 as the Bavarian Inn presents its annual New Year's Eve Murder Mystery Dinner Show beginning at 6:30 p.m. The story unfolds with the O'Toole family coming together following the death of their own Toby O'Toole, with each vying for a piece of Toby’s vast wealth. They’re a family that truly puts the "fun" in dysfunctional! The assignment: solve the mystery while enjoying a festive multi-course New Year’s Eve dinner. The $50 per person package includes meal and the show, a non-alcoholic beverage, tax, and gratuity. Dinner detectives will also discover a cash bar available before and during the investigation.
