Dreams to Business Announces 2025 Summer Entrepreneurship Skills Workshops
ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. - March 10, 2025 - Dreams to Business [http://www.dreamstobusiness.org/], the nonprofit organization that promotes business literacy education, today announced that its 2025 Summer Entrepreneurship skills workshop is now open for enrollment. The training program will teach unique skills to enable underprivileged children to take advantage of global opportunities in business and careers. Dreams to Business is led by its founder, Kaitlyn Letien, a 17-year-old junior at JSerra Catholic High School in San Juan Capistrano.
"It is vital to give children the tools to become our entrepreneurs of tomorrow," said Letien. "We teach underprivileged children essential business skills through creative workshops. Our programs turn creativity into real-world opportunities and inspire confidence."
Letien explained, "Every child, everywhere, deserves the chance to fulfill their dreams and build a brighter future for themselves and their families. We aim to shape future leaders and entrepreneurs, one dream, one business, and one child at a time."
Dreams to Business offers the following workshops for children:
- Entrepreneurship 101-teaching the basics of creating and running a business, from brainstorming ideas to creating a simple business plan.
- Financial Literacy-delivering a fun, interactive learning experience focused on budgeting, managing profits and expenses, and understanding the value of money.
- Marketing-making it simple for kids to discover how to promote their ideas, create brand stories, engage in public speaking, and connect with their audience.
"I am deeply inspired to help people," added Letien. "My love for business and jewelry making began with Humanity Bracelets and led to the inception of Dreams to Business. My grandmother's incredible story of coming to the U.S. with nothing and starting a jewelry business to support her family is what continues to drive my passion to share the power of entrepreneurship."
