About the Author
He has spent many years as an interventional cardiologist dedicated to healing others. But he has always had a way of storytelling, and after retiring from medicine, he started writing to help preserve the past and explore the present. His poetry and essays tend to be more about nature, history, and the ties that bind families together. He now lives in the Swan Valley with his wife, where he continues to write, reflect, and share the stories that matter most.
Holmes's writing is not about grand, sweeping histories-it's about the little things that make a life: the laughter at the dinner table, the lessons passed down from father to son, the traditions that evolve but never truly fade.
