Thanks to biased media coverage, it seems that everything "esoteric" or "spiritual" has somehow mutated into a bad word. Many people associate it with modern hippie rhetoric devoid of substance, or consider spiritual people to be naive dreamers out of touch with reality.

Esotericism and spirituality deal with exactly this - and much more: the term refers to inner knowledge and research, to exploring and recognizing the spirit and soul behind matter and how they are all connected, interact and influence each other.

Perhaps a more appropriate term today would be consciousness research. Because everything together - body, soul, mind - makes up our consciousness. This certainly includes common sense - as part of human consciousness.

Humans are much more than that, but due to their highly materialistic attitudes, thousands of years of religious indoctrination, and subsequent scientific knowledge, they have turned away from spiritual values. Many believe only in material evidence and reason, but not in a soul or spirit. Even though they feel every day that there is something beyond body and mind.

We need to build a bridge back to the true essence of man and discover that he is more than just a body and a mind.
It is important to unite all levels of being and bring them into harmony. Then so-called enlightenment can happen - recognizing who you really are, what you really want, and finding your personal purpose in this world. It is then possible to live a deeply enriching and happy life. A natural desire to share this happiness arises and becomes the basis for a harmonious, peaceful and mindful coexistence that encompasses all of life.
