EAC Network received a generous donation of coats and winter apparel from Kids Helping Kids, By Kids Way, Inc. These essential items will be distributed amongst the children in EAC Network’s programs.

Kids Helping Kids is led by Executive Director Bob Eslick, and was founded by his sons Robert AJ Eslick and Philip M. Eslick in 1997. Their mission is to engage youth in philanthropy and teach the value of helping others. The organization’s Thirteenth Annual “Making a Warmth of Difference” winter apparel drive in which brand new winter coats, jackets, and fleeces are collected by local youth and donated to nonprofits that help Long Island kids and families in need.

“We are truly amazed by the generosity of Bob Eslick and Kids Helping Kids every year,” said Lance W. Elder, President & CEO, EAC Network. “It’s inspiring to see how many local kids get together to make a difference. We are grateful to know that the children we serve have the gift of warmth this winter season.”

EAC Network serves children who have been physically abused, are at-risk of exploitation, or are in the foster care system. Many have little to no belongings and rely on the generous donations of others.

Kids Helping Kids will be hosting its “Making a Warmth of Difference” Annual Benefit on December 8th at Oheka Castle. To attend or donate to Kids Helping Kids, please contact Bob Eslick at HappyKidsClub@aol.com or 516-249-9449.

EAC Network (www.eac-network.org) is a not-for-profit social service agency that empowers, assists, and cares for over 71,000 individuals across Long Island and NYC. The organization has grown tremendously since its inception in 1969 and now offers over 70 diverse programs that address many of society’s core problems. People’s lives are being destroyed by addiction, families continue to struggle to overcome poverty, abuse, and neglect, and seniors face isolation and abandonment.
