How Twin Musicom went from zero to millions of plays in just one year.
In 2014, Twin Musicom reached out to Creative Commons Music legend Kevin McCleod. To their surprise, he not only responded, but was also nice enough to feature them on his website.As a result, traffic to Twin Musicom’s website and exposure of their music skyrocketed and eventually they were contacted by the YouTube Audio library team to see if they were interested in being a part of the YouTube audio library.
Twin Musicom, which started in 2014 as a couple of musician friends who wanted to make some jingles and get them featured on their favorite Youtube videos, gladly took advantage of this amazing opportunity.
As a result their music has been featured in over 500k YouTube videos as well as films, video games, corporate training videos, and commercials in just one year. Most recently, Twin Musicom was interviewed for a documentary about Kevin McCleod and the world of Creative Commons music.

The three members are a mix of classically trained and self-taught musicians. After spending time performing in the local music scene they yearned for a broader audience for their music. They turned their attention to creative commons music and have been working together to create music for Twin Musicom for about two years. Their music being featured in the YouTube Audio Library has resulted in millions of plays all around the world.
