Bavarian Inn Restaurant employees team up to help feed Michigan’s hungry
Bavarian Inn employees gathered to the food bank’s Flint, Michigan, headquarters on Nov. 15 to pack 9,000 pounds of food products for distribution to the region’s needy. In addition, employees raised approximately $1,000 in cash donations to the food bank at the restaurant’s recent Holiday Open House.
According to Bavarian Inn Marketing Manager Mandy Borsenik, past charities aided by the Company Giving Program include the Fallen and Wounded Soldiers Fund, Hospice for Hope, Special Olympics, Special Days Camp and Saginaw Habitat for Humanity.
"The Bavarian Inn," Borsenik added, "has many caring team members who give so generously each year to help those in need. We’re looking forward to an exciting year of giving in 2017."
