NHU Shangyu Calligraphy and Painting Association Hosted "Spring Festival Couplets and Blessings" Event

As the Chinese New Year of the Snake approaches, a warm and culturally rich event took place in the multifunctional hall on the sixth floor. On January 8th, the NHU Shangyu Calligraphy and Painting Association hosted the " Spring Festival Couplets and Blessings" activity.

The event began with members from the Calligraphy Association laying out paper, dipping their brushes in ink, and starting their strokes. They splashed ink across the paper, sending powerful, vigorous New Year wishes. The fresh scent of ink filled the air as the couplets quickly took shape, flooding the room with vibrant red couplets that exuded a strong festive spirit and a rich sense of tradition. The event also featured a DIY station for making rubbings of New Year paintings, which attracted many curious participants. As attendees looked at the New Year's blessings they had personally rubbed, their faces lit up with joyful smiles.
