The international Speaker Slam, a top-class speaker competition, made a stop in Wiesbaden on January 16, 2025 - and Kathrin Klix from Berlin used the stage to wow both the audience and the jury with an impressive performance. With the topic "Clear communication for successful teams and a healthy working atmosphere", Kathrin Klix managed to convey a clear message that resonated in the minds of the audience.

The Speaker Slam is not just a competition, but also a platform that brings together speakers from all over the world to get their message across. Created by Hermann Scherer, one of the most renowned speakers in the German-speaking world, the competition has developed into a true institution. Stations such as New York, Frankfurt, Vienna and Hamburg exemplify the international reputation of this event. This time, Wiesbaden was the venue where speakers put their skills to the test.

The special feature of the Speaker Slam: the participants only have four minutes to get to the heart of their topic, capture the audience's attention and establish an emotional connection. This tight time limit is a challenge that requires maximum precision, creativity and strong nerves. As soon as the four minutes are up, the microphone is mercilessly switched off - a rule that ensures that every presentation must be precise and captivating.

Kathrin Klix mastered this challenge with flying colors. Her speech "Clear communication for successful teams and a healthy working atmosphere" addressed a highly topical issue that is particularly important in today's working world. She impressively illustrated how clear communication not only improves collaboration, but also has a significant impact on the success and health of teams and organizations. With a captivating stage presence and a message that was both inspiring and practical, she won the hearts of the judges and the audience alike.

But the Speaker Slam is more than a competition. It is a stage for diversity and inspiration. The topics of the participants were as diverse as the speakers themselves: From personal stories to professional experiences to socially relevant messages, everything was represented. This diversity makes the competition a reflection of life and shows how powerful words can be.

Kathrin Klix's performance was a highlight of the evening. She got her message across with passion and conviction and proved that communication is the basis for success - on stage as well as in everyday professional and private life.

The event in Wiesbaden was a complete success and offered the audience an unforgettable evening. It showed once again that the Speaker Slam is not just a competition, but also a source of inspiration and a place where speakers can take their skills to a new level. For Kathrin Klix, this evening was a further step in her career and impressive proof of her talent for moving people with words.

Grilling without danger: for a safe family BBQ
Fun and attention are the guiding principles at barbecues. Because besides the fun there are dangers lurking - not just around an open fire. Caution is also required with drinks, especially if they are in glass bottles. If they break, the shards can quickly lead to cuts. Children and dogs are particularly affected, even wild animals, says a forester. Whether in your own garden, on a meadow or at public barbecue
StadtFarm to develop DIN standard for Smart Urban Farming
Those who want to eat healthy and planet-friendly food should pay attention to a seasonal, sustainable and, if possible, regional origin of their food.
