Dinorah Briceno is a dedicated scholar and practitioner in social welfare, currently pursuing a Ph.D. at Yeshiva University. Her work primarily explores the mental health challenges within Latin communities and the intersection of social justice and wellness. As a psychotherapist and site coordinator for a community mental health agency, Dinorah is devoted to advocating for vulnerable groups to ensure they receive comprehensive care.

She earned a Master's in Social Work from Yeshiva University in 2021, alongside a trauma certificate, and holds two additional master's degrees in language education. These qualifications highlight her commitment to using language as a tool for empowerment and fostering cross-cultural understanding. With a Bachelor of Education from UCAB and over 16 years of experience, Dinorah has specialized in supporting individuals with special needs through various certifications, including one in Autism Education.
