TenantCloud, the service that provides free landlord accounting and rental management tools, announced a new feature allowing landlords to verify their listings in an effort to protect tenants from fraudulent predatory thieves.

Austin, TX, November 11, 2016 - TenantCloud a leading provider of cloud-based rental accounting announces Trusted Verifications, a new feature for landlords to verify their rental listing as genuine and available. As paying rent becomes ever easier to do online cyber thieves are ever increasing how they steal. Thieves are coping listings and reposting them as their own, on some of the largest and most well known rental search sites, and demanding deposits from unsuspecting tenants. By the time the tenant knows what has happened the thieves have made off with as much as first month’s rent, deposit and an application fee.
TenantCloud offers portals for landlords and tenants, where they can receive/pay rent, receive/send applications, communicate, assign work orders and much more including free listings on over 30 major rental listing sites. With Trusted Verifications prospective tenants can now look for the shield on the property manager’s logo and proceed to filling out an application with confidence. This provides a way for Landlords to show they are real and their properties are genuine.
TenantCloud has also add increased security. TenantCloud is now available on iOS and Android devices, laptops, tablets and includes system security and encryption with 128-bit through SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). This means data is backed up every 20 minutes and available only to authorized users. All rental information is stored in a cloud account, so users can access it from anywhere and anytime.
