Burn is a U.S. Navy veteran, having served as a Hospital Corpsman during Desert Storm, and has professional experience in the Caribbean and Afghanistan. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from the University of Central Florida and has studied at the Medical University of the Americas.
