Press Release:

President Donald J. Trump, Robert Leslie Stencil is Calling You Out!

Charlotte, North Carolina - January 9, 2024

Robert Leslie Stencil, a North Carolina-based entrepreneur with a groundbreaking vision to make America energy independent, is calling on President Donald J. Trump to fulfill his promises to help those silenced and sidelined by the former Obama and Biden administrations. Mr. Stencil previously reached out to President Trump six times in both 2016 and 2020, sending comprehensive packages detailing his half-trillion-dollar project to scale natural gas as America's fourth transportation fuel, but has yet to see any support for his vision to transform the nation's energy future.

In both 2016 and 2020, Mr. Stencil delivered detailed project overviews to Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence and New York headquarters, showcasing his innovative approach. His proposal included converting approximately 500,000 light vehicle fleet to natural gas at no cost to operators, planting a billion trees, and establishing over 5,000 natural gas fueling stations across the U.S. Phrases from Mr. Stencil's proposal-like "planting a billion trees" and "cost-free light fleet conversions"-later appeared in Trump's speeches, yet Stencil's initiative has remained unsupported.

Earlier, in 2012, Mr. Stencil and his wife Luda went directly to the Democratic National Committee (DNC) headquarters in Washington, D.C., to deliver this comprehensive package on scaling natural gas as a fourth transportation fuel. However, despite this effort, Mr. Stencil later saw his ideas echoed in the Green New Deal, leading him to suspect that his plan was appropriated and repurposed. Further, Mr. Stencil wrote to every Republican Senator in Washington, D.C., in 2020 seeking help and also reached out to over 200 attorneys. Yet, each plea was ignored or declined-many were frightened by the potential repercussions, intimidated by the "lawfare" tactics that had already disrupted his family and dissuaded others from supporting him.

In a pattern of suppression that mirrored the tactics Mr. Trump himself often speaks against, Mr. Stencil became a target of lawfare first. The federal government attempted to silence him by charging him with 41 felonies, which were ultimately reduced to 38. Mr. Stencil pleaded not guilty and went to trial, as did his wife. Luda was acquitted, but Mr. Stencil was convicted-a wrongful conviction he insists was aimed at discrediting and burying his project in favor of the Green New Deal. All because he said he didn't want to take any subsidies for the project that it would all be built out of liquid natural gas (LNG) sales to free trade and non-free trade countries. He remains innocent of these charges and has remained resolute in his mission to provide America with cleaner, more affordable energy.

Three days into the investigation of Robert Leslie Stencil and his wife Luda, drove to Washington, D.C., to meet with a former DOJ Federal prosecutor, Bill Mogel of Mogel & Sweet LLP. Mr. Mogel introduced them to Justin Shure at Moló Lampkin a $15,000-an-hour attorney at a Watergate Plaza, who raised a pointed question: "Who did Leslie pay to play in Washington, D.C.?" He explained to Mr. Stencil that, without such a connection, his project would likely be discredited, as is often the fate of those who haven't "paid to play." Shure's prediction soon became a reality when, after delivering Stencil's company data to DOJ headquarters, he returned with a grim report: "They're going to prosecute and send him to prison." Mr. Stencil's experience echoes the challenges faced by countless entrepreneurs caught in the crossfire of political agendas.
Mr Stencil is not saying he won't contribute. He just hadn't contributed as of that point, because David Wolckner at K&L Gates DC said it wasn't time yet, but he was wrong.

Mr. Stencil's project had key endorsements, including feasibility endorsements by Burne Mosley, former Deputy Director of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), along with support from Clean Cities initiatives, the Department of Energy, and Cameron Parish officials. Also Energy Transfer and others.

This project can be operational within three years, delivering energy independence well within the timeframe of another Trump administration. He has a fee agreement for unlimited amounts of capital to build the $12-billion project in Louisiana, along with a fully vetted Department of Energy free trade export permit ready to be filed. The permit states that the company, out of its own profits, will establish 5,000 natural gas stations nationwide at no taxpayer expense and convert 500,000 light fleet vehicles annually at no cost to operators. This endeavor is estimated to generate over 244,000 new jobs over a 20 to 30 year period at a 35% federal tax rate.

With extensive experience in energy and infrastructure, Mr. Stencil has done what no contestant on *The Apprentice* could achieve. "President Trump, you know what it takes to be a leader and recognize visionaries, and I have done more than anyone who's ever been on *The Apprentice.* My projects, spanning energy independence, infrastructure, and job creation, are not just pitches-they are concrete plans that can reshape America's future," he says. While contestants aimed to impress in tasks and challenges, Mr. Stencil built a sustainable, large-scale energy initiative that stands to impact millions of American lives-an endeavor that embodies the very principles of perseverance, innovation, and patriotism that President Trump values. See the evidence not allowed in court. The file is called exculpatory evidence. All attach documents from those that endorsed the project along with contracts.

Mr. Stencil calls upon President Trump to honor his promise to fix the damage done by the Obama and Biden administrations. "Mr. Trump, you promised me and the nation you'd correct what Obama and Biden broke. I was the first to be silenced with 38 felonies, all fabricated to discredit me and hold back my project," Leslie says. "I was innocent then, and I'm still innocent now. You and I share almost the same story."

Additionally, while incarcerated in 2021, Mr. Stencil discovered that 131 judges violated the financial ethics rules. Research revealed that four Obama-appointed judges involved in his case held competitive stocks in anti-oil and gas sectors, compromising their impartiality. Despite motions for recusal based on these conflicts, his appeals were disregarded. Now, Mr. Stencil is calling for his immediate release, a chance to clear his name, and an opportunity to serve the new administration. Leslie has unparalleled experience spans upstream, midstream, and downstream energy sectors, Greenfield and Brownfield construction, and recognized roadway infrastructure expertise with the North Carolina Department of Transportation.

"President Trump, we have sent this to all those that are close to you. We haven't heard back from you. So we are issuing this press release to the public. My name is Robert Leslie Stencil, and I'm waiting in a federal correctional camp in Edgefield SC to see if you'll make good on your word. "I'm Peter Smith J, and this was written on behalf of Robert Leslie Stencil."

With the nation's energy future at stake, Mr. Stencil is urging President Trump to take a stand-not just for him, but for the American people who deserve energy independence and a brighter, cleaner future. The time for action is now.
