O'Connor Company Awarded $14.7M Rockland Animal Shelter Project
West Haverstraw, NY - O'Connor Company [https://www.buildoconnor.com/] is proud to announce its recent award of the $14.7 million Rockland Animal Shelter project, marking another significant milestone in the company's history of delivering innovative construction solutions. The project will renovate an existing 15,000-square-foot warehouse located at 427 Beach Road, West Haverstraw, NY, into a cutting-edge animal shelter facility.
The ambitious scope includes adding a second floor, bringing the total area to 30,000 square feet, and upgrading interior and exterior finishes, site improvements, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEPs) systems. The facility will feature modern surgical exam rooms, an adoption center, and staff areas on the main level. The new upper level will provide additional space for adoption services, an animal exercise room, and a future build-out to enhance functionality further.
