My City My Voice Celebrates a Great Success with 115 Open Mic Events in 60 Cities

New Delhi: In a rare feat, India's third-largest open mic community, My City My Voice,
completes its four-year journey with more than 115 open mic events across 60 cities in India.
It is for the rising and established artists who could come and give themselves a space to air
their views and build opportunities to network and enhance creatively.
Since its inception, My City My Voice has seen exponential growth, bringing together over
10,000 members and partnering with more than 100 café spaces. It has spread across 28
states and union territories, leaving its mark on the cultural fabric of India. The initiative has
received recognition from leading media houses such as Hindustan Times, Times of India,
and Red FM.
The events on the platform have not only served as launchpads for budding artists but have
also drawn in participation from prominent personalities, including Prakash Belawadi, Alex
Matthew, and Gaurav Arora, whose voices further established this as a space of
collaboration and expression for artists.
Open mic is at the heart of the platform, but over time, the platform has developed into
holding workshops, themed events, and events with top brands and media partners. Besides
entertainment, My City My Voice pays attention to emotional well-being and community
building, therefore creating a space where these individuals feel safe to voice themselves.
With this in mind, holistic influence has brought about the desired effect on mental health,
including creating belongingness and bonding among the participants.
Reflecting on this achievement, the founder of My City My Voice exclaimed in immense
