Vacuum Pump Lubricants is a type of lubricating oil specially developed for vacuum pumps on vacuum equipment, divided into two types: mineral oil and synthetic oil. Mineral oil is extracted from natural petroleum and has good lubricating properties and stability, but its performance may be slightly inferior compared to synthetic oil. Synthetic oil is produced through chemical synthesis methods and has superior properties such as higher oxidation stability, lower vapor pressure, and better emulsion resistance. Suitable for use in reciprocating booster pumps, mechanical booster pumps, and oil sealed mechanical vacuum pumps, as well as various diffusion vacuum pumps. Synthetic vacuum pump oil mainly includes synthetic hydrocarbons, ester oils, fluorinated compounds, etc. Synthetic oil is obtained through chemical synthesis or refining processes, which have complex processes, high refining costs, and unparalleled advantages over mineral oil. Synthetic oil has a higher viscosity index, resulting in better viscosity temperature characteristics, more sufficient lubrication at high temperatures, and good fluidity at low temperatures.
