Liu Xiaokang, President of Chongqing University of Technology, was awarded the Distinguished Scientist Award by the International Society for Nanomanufacturing (ISNM)

The ISNM Distinguished Scientist Award was established by the International Society for Nanomanufacturing in 2024, named after Dr. Taniguchi, who first proposed the professional term "nanotechnology" in the world. It is awarded to the scholars who have made outstanding contributions in the field of nanomanufacturing and measurement worldwide, and is selected every two years, with two winners chosen each time. At present, the International Society for Nanomanufacturing has selected 71 ISNM Fellows, and this conference has added 3 ISNM Fellows worldwide.
The ISNM Young Scientist Committee aims to unite and guide young scholars to play a vital role in the research of nanomanufacturing and measurement fields. This time, Professor Liu Xiaokang has also been newly appointed as the Deputy Editor in Chief of Nanomanufacturing and Metrology , an international journal for nanomanufacturing and measurement. This journal is the only official journal of the International Society for Nanomanufacturing (ISNM).
