The 27th edition of the ART INTERNATIONAL ZURICH art fair will take place from 23 to 25 May 2025 at the impressive Puls 5 venue in Zurich.

EVENT
ART INTERNATIONAL ZURICH 2025
27th Contemporary Art Fair
23 - 25 May 2025
Puls 5 Event Hall Zurich, Switzerland

ABOUT THE FAIR
Since its inception in 1999, ART INTERNATIONAL ZURICH has presented a diverse array of contemporary artworks across a range of formats and price segments. The event has become an important forum for dialogue between art professionals, artists, collectors and art enthusiasts. ART INTERNATIONAL ZURICH is a public art fair held in the spacious and light-flooded historic foundry hall PULS 5 in the dynamic and trendy quarter of the vibrant metropolis of Zurich. ART INTERNATIONAL ZURICH 2025 presents contemporary works from all art genres, including painting, graphics, sculpture and photography, as well as virtual works.
Since its inception, the fair has provided a platform for numerous international exhibitors, enabling cross-border networking beyond the local art scene. Furthermore, the convergence of disparate artistic approaches, methodologies and stylistic conventions serves to engender an intercultural discourse. The direct exchange between visitors and exhibitors provides an opportunity for the discovery of new ideas, the experience of influences from different cultures and the initiation of a dynamic dialogue about contemporary art. For these reasons, ART INTERNATIONAL ZURICH plays a pivotal role in fostering cultural awareness and cross-border networking. The fundamental premise of the event is based on the concept of personal encounters, which positions it as a discovery fair and a forum for dynamic discourse. It serves as a convergence point for a multitude of actors within the art sector, including gallerists, art dealers, collectors, entrepreneurs, curators, artists, and the public with an interest in art.
In the context of the ongoing digitalisation of the world, the role of art fairs and similar events in today's global market is a topic that is frequently the subject of debate. The digital transformation has facilitated access to a vast array of information sources covering a multitude of art-related topics. However, it is precisely in the context of the digital age that the original work of art, with all its spatial, tactile and emotional facets and characteristics, is undergoing a significant revaluation. It is not possible to consider a purely virtual presentation of art as a substitute for a physical experience, as it lacks the essential elements of authentic interaction, including the ability to interact with the artwork in a tactile and spatial manner, as well as the immediate resonance that such interaction provides. The impact of an artwork is only manifested in direct perception.
In this context, the 27th ART INTERNATIONAL ZURICH art fair provides an optimal setting for all those with an interest in the visual arts.
