Creativity in 45 seconds
45seconds has been promoting creative short videos since 2018 and attracts artists from all over the world. The only requirement: the clips must be exactly 45 seconds long. This year's theme, "Momentum", offered scope for a wide range of interpretations - from emotional snapshots to technically sophisticated animations.
The competition is open to everyone and requires neither entry fees nor prior knowledge - only the age of majority. The deadline for the current competition was November 4, 2024.
Top-class jury and attractive prizes
The winners were selected by a prominent jury consisting of
* Andrea Hügli, theater director (Vienna)
* Alexander Stahl, filmmaker (Berlin)
* Marwan, video artist (Dubai)
The winners can look forward to exclusive prizes provided by the main sponsor MAGIX Software:

A comeback with passion
"We need independent initiatives that promote art and culture," emphasizes Manfred Gottert, initiator of 45seconds. "After a two-year break due to the pandemic, 45seconds is back. We are thrilled to be able to revive this creative energy. Special thanks go to the lab45 design team, who have supported us with passion."
Preparations are already underway for the 2025 competition. The vision remains clear: to create a platform for visionary short films and boundless creativity.
