Legasee is excited to announce the launch of its new mobile app, Legasee Vault, the app is designed to facilitate the transfer of critical information in the event of someone's death to their loved ones, to empower them with the right information to respond to the event, claim benefits and simplify estate proceedings. Legasee Vault is available on both iOS and Android, the app introduces a secure, digital solution to replace the outdated physical Death Folders.
The app has been developed with a focus on security, privacy and usability, ensuring users can take full control off their end-of-life information plan.
Legasee Vault's unique event-based access allows users to retain their privacy by limiting access to the information stored in their vault to only become accessible once a specific event has been initiated and confirmed by their nominated event administrators.
Event administrators can easily initiate events, approve or reject events and securely gain access to the information through the Legasee app on their device, removing the need for loved ones to remember information or where they might have stored it, as the app is always accessible to them.
Users are able to easily update and manage their important information through the app with peace of mind that those that need it will be able to gain access to the latest information when they need it.
Legasee Vault lets users store information in defined categories to make them easier to understand and find, as well as allowing supporting documents and relevant contacts to be linked to each record. As a vault owner, users are also able to write additional instructions for each record to further assist loved ones after their death.
Legasee allows users to get started for free by storing a copy of their will (up to 10MB) at no cost, but for more sophisticated users who want to capture more detailed information can upgrade to Legasee Pro for only $9.99. per year which allows users to add unlimited number of records and get 1GB of cloud storage for supporting documents.
"Legasee's digital vault comes at a critical time and is focused on solving a truly global problem as families are increasingly spread across borders and we stand on the verge of the greatest wealth transfer in history. Legasee solves a very specific problem, that all people have, but don't realize."
The app is part of Legasee's vision to empower people's loved ones with the information they need in possibly their darkest time. Legasee Vault already offers a host of features and will be continuously updated with new features to add new capabilities and value for vault owners and event administrators.

About the founder
Legasee Vault is developed by Stefan Schoeman, a former financial adviser and product manager. Stefan has seen first-hand the impact that a lack of information planning can have on those left behind when someone dies unexpectedly.
"The harsh reality is that this is a global problem that exists and can affect anybody at any time, we don't get to choose what happens, but we can choose what preparations we make and preparation is a gift we can give our loved ones." - Stefan Schoeman.
