CKB Eco Fund Highlights Strategic Focus on RGB++ Protocol, Eyes Dogecoin Integration
The CKB Eco Fund is doubling down on its investment in the RGB++ protocol, positioning it as the key to unlocking robust smart contract functionality for Bitcoin. Baiyu, the partner of CKB Eco Fund, envisions RGB++ becoming the Bitcoin equivalent of Ethereum's ERC20 and ERC721 standards, paving the way for a new era of decentralized applications and asset issuance on the Bitcoin network. This strategic focus will see significant resources poured into RGB++ development, enhancing its capabilities and scalability within the Bitcoin and UTXO ecosystems.

The ambitious roadmap for RGB++ includes upcoming support for the Dogecoin chain, with a dedicated Meme Launchpad planned following the BTC Meme Launchpad release. This expansion aims to broaden RGB++'s reach and introduce its innovative features to a wider audience.
Furthermore, Baiyu highlighted the strategic importance of Lightning Network integration for RGB++, stating that it will significantly bolster the protocol's competitive advantage. Multiple development teams are actively working on ensuring compatibility with the Lightning Network, including efforts related to Taproot Assets and RGB, further solidifying the long-term vision for CKB.
The growing excitement surrounding RGB++ is reflected in the recent performance of related projects. The Meme token SEAL has surged 50% in the past 24 hours, while CKB itself has seen a 12% increase, signaling strong investor confidence in the ecosystem's potential.
