Created by Fabiola Baughman, the film follows her journey as she leaves her career as a scientist and biology professor in the U.S. to return to her homeland. Once in Peru, she reconnected with the Andean people, the sacred shamans, and her ancestral heritage.
Despite having no previous filmmaking experience, Baughman was guided by the "Apus," the mountain spirits, to create Journey to the Heart of the Andes - and she listened. The film serves as a call to action for those seeking deep spiritual growth.
Recognized as a shaman and clairvoyant herself, Baughman reveals how viewers can reconnect with the earth to access their inner power.
