Press Release: CAMPUSPEAK’s College Speakers Academy (CSA) Registration Open to Aspiring College Speakers for Boston 2016 Seminar
CSA was created to provide training to anyone interested in making a positive impact on college students across campuses through educational keynote speeches. CSA’s focus is to ensure that those who consider working in this field are properly trained and are well-equipped with a strong code of ethics that is reflected in every aspect of the business.
“When a campus brings an outsider into their community to educate their students, trust must be honored through adherence to the highest ethical business practices,” says CAMPUSPEAK Executive Director & CEO and CSA Faculty Member Luke Davis. “CSA was designed to not only teach aspiring keynote speakers how to reach college students with their messages, but also how to manage themselves as a business that maintains the high standards to which CAMPUSPEAK prides itself.”
This year, CSA’s topics will include:
going from idea to a college-ready program,
advice on which college conferences are most profitable,
understanding today’s college students,
spending your first marketing dollars,
working with agencies vs. going solo,
speaking locally, regionally or nationally,
understanding college buyers,
developing an action plan for your college speaking,
common mistakes speakers make on campuses, and
the ethics of being a college speaker.
“I believe in the transformative power of the collegiate experience. The learning happens even more outside the classroom,” said David Stollman, Co-founder, Owner, Professional Speaker and CSA faculty member. “To be a part of shaping the experiences for thousands of students each year is a humbling responsibility I do not take lightly.”
Late registration for CSA ends November 15. If you would like to participate in this seminar, register online at: campuspeak.com/academy or if you have questions, you can email CAMPUSPEAK at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
