CeBIT 2008: ContentServ Scores as an Allrounder

At CeBit 2008, ContentServ will be presenting an all-round package of trend-setting solutions, innovative features and comprehensive expertise. This includes the integrative approach, which the Bavarian software company has already been pursuing for quite some time, as the main focus of its presentation at CeBit. The broad range of ContentServ products, which spans Web-to-Print, Product Information Management, Cross Media Publishing, Media Asset Management and Content Management facilitates an integration management, which is unique on the market. A further highlight at the exhibition will be insight into the latest 5.1 version of the CS EMMS-Suite. True to the philosophy of „Web 2.0“, this version includes numerous new features and interfaces. Together with its expert partners, bizcon, Expert Communication, flowmedia and Netpioneer, ContentServ GmbH will be presenting a comprehensive package of products and services from March 4 - 9 in Hall 3, Booth D39 at CeBIT. ContentServ has a limited number of guest tickets available for those interested in visiting its booth.

ContentServ is Integration

In many companies independent solutions are used for sales, communications, editing and publication. Interrupted data cycles, inconsistencies and redundant data storage are often the result. The software solutions of ContentServ GmbH unite the complete process chain of all data relevant to sales and marketing, from the care and editing of different content to the output under a platform, thus facilitating the simple production of a wide variety of media products such as brochures, flyers, price lists, catalogs, websites, and newsletters. Above all, the latest version of the CS EMMS-Suite 5.1 accelerates the automated output of all kinds of data. Through the connection to InBetween software, even the highest demands made on database publishing can be met: Catalogs and price lists can be created quickly and simply. The new Firefox support now facilitates the usual functions, such as drag and drop, in this web browser, which hitherto were only possible in the Internet Explorer. ContentServ has thus designed a new platform for the creation of all media products, which is especially suited to agencies, as well as print and media service providers. Through the integration of the Office Package, in the form of a comprehensive new WebDav interface, documents such as business reports can also be created simply and easily. The various ContentServ solutions are now even more closely meshed, so that long, error-prone correction processes are no longer required and each company can react quickly to the current market situation. The application scenario is tailored individually to each customer: From data care in the Product Information Management system CS PMS-Suite, output in the website and the online shop, to the creation of brochures with a high image content or individualized flyers using the Web-to-Print solution, the CS Creation-Suite, and the Media Asset Management solution, the CS MAM-Suite, ContentServ makes everything possible. Any company can find a ContentServ solution specifically tailored to its individual requirements, which is capable of optimizing and streamlining the various facets of company communication, thus making it more efficient.

Web 2.0 meets ContentServ

According to the motto „Keep it simple“, ContentServ has created CSLive. Its simple and self-explanatory interfaces can be operated by anyone with little or no training. The new portal approach provides users with different possibilities for numerous Web 2.0 functionalities such as „My Desk“, „My Pictures“ or simple management of user accounts. The client principle makes it possible to customize the interfaces with only a few mouse clicks. At the same time the „portal users“ just as the „power users“ may care for product data, manage image data and create websites. What was once only possible for users in the backend has never been as simple as in CSLive.
