MOU signing ceremony between pQCee and Netrust

Singapore - 8 Nov 2024 - pQCee Pte Ltd, a leading provider of post-quantum security products and solutions, and Netrust Pte Ltd, Asia's first Public Certificate Authority (CA) and Singapore's only commercial IMDA-accredited Certificate Authority and provider of certification services, have announced a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to accelerate the availability and deployment of post-quantum security solutions. Under the terms of this agreement, pQCee will deliver cutting-edge post-quantum cryptography solutions to Netrust, who will leverage these solutions to enhance its internal security infrastructure and extend this advanced offering to its customers through its extensive network.

As global concerns over data security intensify and cyber threats grow increasingly sophisticated, organizations are seeking future-ready solutions to protect sensitive data and digital assets. Post-quantum cryptography offers a breakthrough in security by providing encryption that can withstand even the power of quantum computing, ensuring long-term data protection against emerging threats. This MOU positions both companies at the forefront of this technological evolution, as Netrust integrates pQCee's post-quantum solutions into its own systems and makes them available to customers in Singapore and across South-East Asia. This MOU is also the result of CyberSG Talent, Innovation and Growth (TIG) Collaboration Center's ecosystem-building efforts to bring together synergistic partnerships amongst cybersecurity companies in Singapore.

"We are thrilled to partner with Netrust in delivering next-generation security solutions that address one of the most pressing challenges in cybersecurity today," said Dr Tan Teik Guan, CEO of pQCee. "By combining pQCee's advanced post-quantum cryptographic technology with Netrust's wide reach and deep customer relationships, this partnership promises to make quantum-resistant security a new standard for enterprises looking to secure their data well into the future."

Through this partnership, Netrust will offer pQCee's post-quantum solutions to its existing customers, enabling organizations to fortify their cybersecurity frameworks and future-proof their operations against quantum threats. This collaboration empowers Netrust to provide its clients with innovative and scalable security solutions that meet the highest standards in data protection.

"Our collaboration with pQCee allows us to address the evolving security needs of our customers with world-class solutions that offer protection against tomorrow's threats," said Mr Eugene Lam, Deputy CEO of Netrust. "As we integrate these advanced post-quantum encryption tools, we are committed to helping our clients achieve robust security and resilience in a rapidly changing technological landscape."

The MOU signifies both companies' commitment to driving technological advancements and raising industry standards for cybersecurity. Together, pQCee and Netrust aim to foster trust and resilience within the digital ecosystem, providing secure, quantum-ready solutions for customers navigating the new era of cyber threats.
