MAiNGREDIENT Announces Industry Veteran Chef Vorba Joins

Chef Vorba’s Back of House Leadership Enables MAiNGREDIENT to Futher Scale and Grow

MAiNGREDIENT, a leading provider of restaurant management and development, announced today that Craig Vorba has joined the company as Vice President of Culinary Services reporting to John Burchert, CEO/Founder of MAiNGREDIENT. Chef Vorba’s responsibilities will include all day-to-day kitchen operations including menu creation and optimization, labor and food cost control, business development, and back of house training and development.

“We’re thrilled to bring Craig on board. He has already been a key player in building the complete culinary experience in many new establishments, and we’re going to allow him to continue to do that for our customers,” says John Burchert, CEO/Founder of MAiNGREDIENT.

Previously, Chef Vorba has been instrumental in restaurants across the country, including creation of The Iowa Chop House, and most recently Executive Chef at Exile in Des Moines, currently the largest brewery in Iowa. Chef Vorba has a proven track record through a vast awards collection, including People’s Choice Top Chef (2011), Toast to Justice Best Entrée (2009), Best BBQ in Arizona (2013), and a top 3 finish in Best New Restaurants (2014) just to name a few.

“MAiNGREDIENT has put together an amazing team, and I’m excited to be a part of it. We have a group of the most talented individuals in their fields, and we’re built to allow restaurants to use our skills to succeed,” explains Chef Vorba.

The team Mr. Burchert has built is an impressive one. “Because we can offer end-to-end solutions for both new restaurant development and current restaurant management, we literally have a team working 24/7, passing the baton off to the next person as we go,” says John Burchert. “This efficiency and effectiveness is going to allow MAiNGREDIENT to grow very rapidly, and we’re ready for it.”

Chef Vorba will hit the ground running with the current projects for MAiNGREDIENT, which include Beer Burger (www.BeerBurger.com) in North Liberty, IA, a new restaurant that will offer one of the largest selections of beer along with a diverse menu of burgers, milkshakes, and craft drinks. Also in progress is the North Liberty Family Entertainment Center, a first of its kind establishment with bowling, laser tag, and a full restaurant and sports bar, set to break ground in 2017.
