YUMIGO TO ANNOUNCE FUNDING AND LAUNCH NEW AGE TRAVEL WEBSITE

YuMiGo is all set to make some big announcements on 15th October; starting with its first round of funding and a pan-India launch of their travel website that is a leap forward for the travel industry. A grand launch with a dinner evening at Rrala’s Habibi at the MGF Metropolitan Mall, New Delhi will begin with a presentation highlighting the services offered, how these services would be delivering “10x” benefits to its users over its peers and a preview of the future offerings. The evening will end with a Q&A session with the media followed by dinner and drinks.

YuMiGo has been incepted putting the traveler’s pain points at the core and with the sole purpose of solving these problems and making traveling a less painful process. YuMiGo began as an idea when Rishabh Sood personally faced issues around forex that not just caused stress, but also made a hole in the pocket.

An honors graduate from NYU, Rishabh had a strong desire to seek a solution to the forex issues he had faced. He discussed his dilemma with Pratyush Kukreja, a management graduate from the Indian School of Business, and both of them began their quest to bring to India a travel service like never before through YuMiGo, their second venture together.

The duo was soon joined by Anirudh Rastogi, a graduate from Harvard Law School, to advise them on regulations in forex and other services; and Arun Arya as the product lead for building the web and mobile applications for YuMiGo. Arun has previously worked on mobile apps for large enterprises like IRCTC and several other startups.

Today YuMiGo offers currency for over 100 countries all across the globe, over 50 voice plus data bundles to suit every traveler’s requirements, travel insurance plans from multiple service providers and visas for all major countries. YuMiGo will also be launching services in travel inspiration and in-destination engagement with the travelers to offer a complete solution to them; and is already in discussion with multiple global service providers.
