Kofukan Karate Australia to Host "The Secrets of Bassai Dai" Seminar with author Master Colin Wee

Wellard, WA - 24 October 2024 - Kofukan Karate Australia is proud to announce an open seminar, "The Secrets of Bassai Dai with Colin Wee," led by martial arts master and author, Colin Wee. This highly anticipated event will take place on 16 November 2024, from 2:00 PM at the Casuarina Wellard Community Hall.
This seminar will bring together senior martial artists (with suggested ages >13+,) to uncover the insights of traditional techniques and Bassai Dai Kata, as featured in Colin Wee's award-winning book Breaking Through: The Secrets of Bassai Dai Kata. Known for his progressive approach to martial arts, Colin's exploration goes beyond mere technique, offering practitioners tactical wisdom and innovative applications that transcend hard-style fundamentals.
Kofukan Karate Australia Inc., a non-profit association, is honoured to host this event, further promoting its mission to nurture and develop the martial arts community. Participants will experience first-hand how Colin and his team have redefined traditional training systems by blending hard-style tactics with soft-style movement-creating practical and dynamic martial art applications.
