The Kim Rock Group Hosts Candy Collection Drive to Support Troops and Local Families
Community members are invited to drop off any excess Halloween candy to support this heartwarming initiative. The donated candy will be sent to military personnel stationed abroad to bring them a taste of home. It will also be distributed to local needy families, providing an extra treat during the holiday season.
To make the event even sweeter, Newtown Brewing Co. offers special deal: anyone who donates candy during the drive will receive $1 off a pint of beer while enjoying their time at the brewery.
"We're thrilled to be able to give back to our community in such a fun and meaningful way," said Kim Rock, team lead of The Kim Rock Group. "Our goal is to show support for our troops, who sacrifice so much, and to provide a little extra cheer to families who may need it this year."
