This certification comes as a win-win situation for all the stakeholders. While our client has made it to the list of Ford UDB compliant dealerships, it has also opened the gates for ESS to offer its solution to Ford Dealerships around the globe. The Ford Global Unified Database (UDB) Program is a ground-breaking global program that allows Ford to receive critical operational data from individual dealers and to feed this data into their Ford Customer Service Division (FCSD) Dashboard and downstream systems and programs. It allows Ford an unprecedented view into each of their locations worldwide. Ford has over 11,000 dealers worldwide and integrates over 80 unique Dealer Management Systems with UDB so that this critical data can then be integrated into the Ford GUDB. This allows real time data from the retail level to be used in multiple business analytics systems.
ebizframe(www.essindia.com/ebizframe-erp-software) Dealer Management System consists of comprehensive functionalities like records of Workshop Invoices, Over the Counter (OTC) Sales, Inventory present, Used Vehicle Sales, Return of Spare Parts, if any, etc. The certification required the solution to pass more than 200 test cases designed by Ford UDB.
