Andreas Martin Fedrigo descends from the ancient noble family of Vignoli who had settled in the city of Bologna since 1400; from the ancient noble Istrian family of Babich belonging to the Council of Trieste since 1400 and from the ancient and noble family of the Dukes D'Este, the same family that gave rise to the Dukes of Bavaria; Dukes of Saxony and the house of Hannover, known today as Windsor.
