Flat Rate Home Services Kicks Off Pink Truck Month to Benefit Wisconsin Breast Cancer Coalition.

New Berlin, WI, September 26, 2016: Flat Rate Home Services, a third-generation family run company, has partnered with Wisconsin Breast Cancer Coalition (WBCC). The New Berlin-based home services company will run its "Flushing Breast Cancer...One Call at a Time" campaign during the month of October - with 10% of all Pink Truck service fees going directly to WBCC.

"My father, Les, and I chose to support WBCC partly because of their emphasis on breast cancer prevention through environmental awareness. Through extensive research, WBCC and its community partners have 'examined the effects of environmental exposures that may predispose a woman to breast cancer.' We know prevention and early detection saves lives, and the work of WBCC is commendable in both of those areas," said Ryan Gumieny, co-owner of Flat Rate Home Services.

The Wisconsin Breast Cancer Coalition also educates through informational materials and research summaries. Their collaboration with volunteers, researchers, and policymakers have led to legislation and their advocacy keeps issues related to breast cancer at the forefront of Wisconsin politics.
