Press release from: Picas, Inc.

Picas, Inc. recently released Picas for iOS, an app that transforms photos into paintings with advanced artificial intelligence (AI). The app is now downloadable from the App Store.

With a simple interface and quick performance, Picas stands out among the plethora of existing photo editing apps. Compared to other apps it has a superior facial recognition algorithm based on neural networks, which results in more-detailed and quicker portrait enhancements. Selfies are transformed into intricate and fantastic paintings within seconds. Users can choose from a wide selection of filters with over 45 different artistic styles to share across most social media platforms. Furthermore, out of consideration for user privacy, Picas encrypts all data transfers and the app does not store any images on its servers.

Picas was launched on Google Play for Android on September 1. It has reached a 4.7-star average rating and has received thousands of downloads within a single week from users from the test countries. With its iOS launch, the company anticipates reaching a broader international audience that covers globe to share its fun photo editing app.

Taking inspiration from many classic and modern art pieces by Van Gogh, Klimt, Dali, and even Disney's Pixar studios, Picas aspires to help people "create artworks easier than ever." Eunice Hu, marketing director of Picas Inc. says, "It's an interesting thing to let people see what their life would look like under Picasso and Van Gogh's brush. Meanwhile, our users can share their photos with friends, or other social circles, which adds more fun to this app." In receptive fashion, Picas gives its users the option to recommend artistic styles to add to the app's ever-growing suite of filters.

In addition, users have expressed their gratitude towards the development team's "top notch" customer service and responsiveness to user feedback.

"It's straightforward, easy to use, intelligent, and you become your own Picasso in no time," concurs reviewer Onkgopotse Lenake. More importantly, the technology behind Picas invites a discussion that is integral to this new age in digital technology. While sharing his experience of developing Picas, product manager of the app Neil Wang added, "We have always been exploring the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in people's daily lives. Picas is one of the examples where we integrate AI to bring users more entertainment."

Picas offers a superior image-enhancing experience designed to increase user satisfaction with its capacity to generate all types of smarter, higher-resolution transformations. With Picas, Picas, Inc. set out to inject an element of entertainment and quality to everyday image sharing in less time.
