Eiker Promoted To Partner At McCurley Orsinger
DALLAS – The nationally recognized boutique Family Law firm of McCurley Orsinger McCurley Nelson & Downing, L.L.P., is pleased to announce that Carmen Elaine Eiker has been promoted to partner.Board Certified in both Family Law and Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, Ms. Eiker is one of the fewer than 5 percent of Texas attorneys with a board certification in both of these areas of law. This double certification makes her uniquely qualified to handle all aspects of the preparation and presentation of Family Law cases that require a court hearing.
“When Carmen joined us, she was someone everyone at the firm already held in high regard,” says founding partner Mike McCurley. “Standing beside her as a colleague, though, has allowed us to truly appreciate the work she does as an advocate for clients. We are very happy she has taken on this new position within the firm.”
Prior to joining McCurley Orsinger in 2005, Ms. Eiker spent nearly 18 years as a sole practitioner in Midland, Texas. She earned her law degree in 1978 at the Baylor University School of Law after graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1975.
