Arizona Small Business Owner Victimized by Elaborate Bank Fraud Involving Chase Bank Employee and Ex-Felon

Phoenix, AZ - Jason Valasek, an Arizona resident and small business owner, has fallen victim to an elaborate and devastating fraud orchestrated by a Chase Bank employee in collusion with an ex-felon. The scheme resulted in the unauthorized depletion of $320,504.24 from Jason's bank account and the subsequent closure of the account without his consent, leaving him with a business on the brink of collapse and facing $3 million in debt.

Details of the Fraud

In the early months of 2022, a Chase Bank employee engaged in covert communications with an ex-felon, who had recently been released from prison, and other unauthorized individuals linked to Jason's account. This elaborate plot, which had been in the making for several weeks, culminated on September 15, 2022, when Jason was removed from his own bank account and nearly $400,000 was syphoned off. To further conceal the crime, Jason's account was closed without his knowledge.

For over 25 years, Jason had been a loyal customer of Chase Bank, diligently building his business from the ground up without resorting to loans, and maintaining a debt-free enterprise. His business, which had recently begun attracting significant interest from investors, was thriving until this calculated heist brought it to a standstill.

Chase Bank's Lack of Accountability

Despite Jason's immediate efforts to bring this incident to the attention of Chase Bank's executive council, the response has been disheartening. The bank has refused to communicate with Jason or provide any explanation regarding the events that led to the theft and account closure. As a result, Jason's business has been crippled, with all financial avenues to sustain operations locked by the perpetrators.

Legal Actions and Public Appeal

Jason has reported this serious breach to multiple authorities, including the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), the Attorney General, local police departments, and the FBI Crimes Division.
Jason is appealing to the public and potential allies within Chase Bank who may be unaware of these events. He hopes that those with the authority to intervene will take swift action to rectify the situation and hold those responsible accountable.

Denied Dismissals, Altered Evidence, and New Fraud Allegations

Chase Bank has made nine separate attempts to have Jason's lawsuit dismissed, but all nine attempts have been denied by the courts. As the legal process unfolded, Jason's attorney uncovered that Chase Bank provided altered evidence during the discovery phase. This discovery led to the amendment of the lawsuit, adding three additional counts of fraud against Chase Bank. Despite these developments, Chase Bank continues to delay providing any form of explanation or resolution.

Call for Support

"This incident has not only impacted my business but has left me facing insurmountable debt and personal hardship. I am hopeful that by raising awareness of this case, I can find the support and justice that has been denied to me so far," said Jason Valasek.

Jason urges anyone who can assist, whether through legal expertise, public support, or by raising awareness, to come forward. The community's support could be the catalyst for change and the key to rebuilding what has been lost.
