Training on a higher level

Press release from: Cockpit4u Aviation Service GmbH

Cockpit4u has invested in an Airbus compliant flight training device from ECA Faros. It will mainly used for training on Airbus A330 and can be easily converted to A320. The Flight Training Device (FTD) is a state-of-the art, high-fidelity flight training tool envisioned to provide exceptional value in a package designed to address the training needs of Airbus operators. The FTD provides Cockpit4u students with a very realistic und functionally accurate training platform. Thanks to the FTD, students become familiar with operations in the cockpit from the beginning of training and benefit from an interactive learning of aircraft procedures. Each crew is supported by a dedicated instructor. The Instructor Operating Station (IOS) allows the instructor to control the different flight phases and manage the normal and abnormal procedure training. It is very helpful to have a system that fully replicates exactly what the students will see when they go to fly, first of all in the simulator and then of course when they fly the airplane as well.
