One America Strong

1AS announced today the official launch of their organization One America Strong. The organization was established to find solutions to the seemingly much unheeded yet widespread proliferation of adverse attitudes among Americans for reasons that are toxic and do not reflect who we are as a nation. The organization is utterly cognizant of the fact that we are becoming an increasingly divided nation on many levels, however the current focus is to interrupt the cycle of distrust between communities and police officers.

The organization contends that while much talk has been rendered in the wake of the recent shooting deaths of police officers and the shooting deaths by police of young black men in our country, that we as a people, must become much more active in the effort to eliminate those most dreadful behaviors. 1AS strongly believes that technology can play a major role in that process.

Since the declining relationship between African-Americans and law enforcement agwncies has reached massive proportions, it is imperative that this problem is addressed effectively and without further delay. 1AS now offerse enhanced dialog and meaningful contact through their cost free technology that will improve community and police relations.

Here's how:

1. By significantly increasing dialog between communities and police agencies through our online and televised town hall meetings.

2. By providing direct communication between community residents and participating police officers via our secure mobile phone apps.

3. We will also provide opportunities for police agencies and citizens to post videos relative to improving community and police relations.

4. Our website visitors and mobile app users will be able to comment on any post.

As of this time the organization has 173 police agencies from across the nation that have expressed interest in participating in this program. Myron Vincent Anderson Jr., President of 1AS, stated that “if police agencies want to hear from and interact with African-American communities, a new path for our nation will be established. Cultivating greater understanding will greatly improve the currently poor police and community relations.”

Citizens may sign up to interact with police officers in their communities by visiting www.1americastrong.com. The free iOS and Android apps will be available by the middle of November. We encourage all concerned citizens and law enforcement agencies to sign up immediately.

One America Strong was established to find solutions to the apparent much unheeded widespread proliferation of adverse attitudes among Americans for reasons that are toxic and do not reflect who we are as a nation.

While we are cognizant of the fact that we are becoming an increasingly divided nation on many levels, our current focus is to interrupt the cycle of distrust between communities and police officers. Our small think tank is apolitical and comprised of a heavily diverse group that includes people from multiple ethnicities and multiple backgrounds.

In the wake of the recent shooting deaths of police officers and the shooting deaths by police officers of young black men in our country we, as a people, must become much more active in the effort to eliminate this most dreadful trend. We strongly believe that technology can play a major role in this process. We have that Technology.
