From Abracadabra to alakazam magician inline for National awardMidlands, Sept. 7. 2016 - A MAGICIAN who has fought back from depression could be in line to win a national award. Eddie Young, who runs PhatMagic, has been nominated for a Kallikids award
The 42-year-old, from Branston, set up Phat Magic more than four years ago after his wife, Debbie, bought him a magic set to 'give him something to do' while he battled his way out of depression. Now his hobby could see him propelled to national stardom after the anonymous nomination. KalliKids is a website run by parents for parents and allows the public to rate their favorite children's activity or service provider. However, despite his national nomination, he remains humble.

It is not about me.”" As well as putting on private children's parties, Phat Magic is drawing in attention from businesses and major attractions. Just to be nominated, Mr Young said: " I am just dumbfounded, gob-smacked to be nominated. I don't do it for me, I do it for the children. I am just me.
