Press release from: TimeKontor

NEST- "Network for Integrated Systems in Telemedicine" will exhibit its products and developments for the third time in Dubai from January 28th to 31st 2008. The Arab Health exhibition is the region's most important event for healthcare manufacturers, wholesalers, dealers and distributors.
This year network partner Markus Schröder, Tembit Software GmbH, is ready to answer your questions at our booth ZC38. Tembit Software GmbH offers with its product: GENOMatch an IT infrastructure enabling complete protection of personal data within clinical studies.
Furthermore visitors are informed about the recent developments and projects. One of the projects is “StrokeNet” - a telemedicine system, which allows by transmitting vitality functions (e.g. ECG), monitoring data, picture and sound between mobile intensive care units and a hospital with a specialised stroke unit, to apply neurological expertise of stroke specialists for the immediate treatment. A communication box selects the best available connection(s) (e.g. UMTS, WLAN). Currently five ambulance cars in Berlin are equipped with this system and some pilot data on acceptance and performance improvements is collected. Another project, the ALS-Manager is an internet platform, which allows observed pharmaceutical studies on the basis of telemedicine support for the patients in domestic surrounding or while travelling. The electronic patient record with access to an internet platform will be in use throughout Germany and offer the attending physicians a competent decision assistant. Both projects were developed and implemented from NEST partners. Visit NEST at booth ZC38! We are looking forward to establishing business contacts with hospitals, ambulance car providers, physicians and you.
