It is with great pleasure that we announce that Giorgos Kolliopoulos, Founder/CEO of Speiron, which produces λ /lambda/ ultra premium olive oil, the first luxury olive oil in the world, has been included on the Food Innovation 50 Powerlist 2024.
The list was published last week by Boussias Media for the first time ever in Greece and showcases people who drive innovation, research, and development forward in the Greek food & beverage industry.
With regards to the honorary inclusion Kolliopoulos stated: "Innovation, branding, and premiumization can truly add high value to Greek agricultural products and make them global. That is exactly what I have been trying to do through my work and my company for almost twenty years. We shall have to transform food brands into an experience. For centuries, the Greek land has produced treasures. Today, however, we must open ourselves not to the blue of the Aegean, but to the unknown of risk and innovation."
