Hangload - the new way to load your bike
Hangload as new inexpensive alternative for carrying bags and backpacks on the bike
The bike is an increasingly popular means of transportation. Bicycle baskets and pannier bags, however, offer only limited space and are just right on the bike practically. A new easy, practical and functional way to transport with virtually any bag on the bike, now provides the patented Hangload-System.
Biking is becoming increasingly popular particularly in urban areas. Especially for shopping, sports and the daily ride to work the bike is used. The known transport opportunities such as baskets or pannier bags provide only limited storage space, which unfortunately is often not enough.
Full shopping bags or detergent packs that dangle on the handlebars, because they did not fit into the transport storage or a sweaty, painful back when the heavy work folder had to be taken home - these are known situations for cyclists.
The patented Hangload-System now offers an alternative - a chamfered panel and a toggle, which is attached to the rear rack, almost any bag can be transported by bike in the future. It can be transported bags in various shapes and sizes: shopping bags, backpacks, sports bags, handbags, laptop bags, briefcases, travel bags ...
By beveling the Hangload the attached bag remains free from possible splashes and mud and does not hinder the rider while pedaling. So cycling with load gets stable and safe bicycle control.
Hangload was 2013 for the Innovation Award Berlin Brandenburg among the finalists, was presented in the paper the ADFC "Radzeit" in December 2013 and the founder Darius Matthew Hajiani introduced in 2014 successfully at the VeloBerlin. The idea of Hangload was created in Berlin and is now also produced here locally.
Hangload is available in two different models. The stainless steel version is beveled fixed and can be selected with a banner in different colors individually for the customer.
The black PE version, however, can be folded over a metal spacer in the case of need and is otherwise flat at the rear wheel.
With the Hangload on bicycle, cyclists get a bit of freedom back - you can always spontaneously handling heavy shopping bags and can now even take your favorite bag on the bike. Hangload is available online on the company webpage or in 9 local Berlin bike and bag shops.
