SALT LAKE AUTHOR HOSTS FREE WORKSHOP SHARING TIPS ON HOW SHE TRAVELED THE WORLD STARTING WITH ONLY $30
Salt Lake City, Utah-To celebrate the release of her first book: "The Unencumbered Traveler," local author Liz Wright will be hosting a book launch party and workshop at the Marmalade Library near downtown Salt Lake City.The event will be held on Saturday, August 20th, from 11 am to 2pm at the Marmalade Branch, 280 W, 500 N, and is open to the public. The author will speak for about 45 minutes sharing excerpts and tips from her book on solo travel, working remotely and making money overseas, and even ways to travel for free.
Following the workshop there will be a Q&A, light refreshments, and travel themed photo opportunities and give-aways geared towards travel. The author will also be giving away a few signed copies of the book.
“I just want people to realize that traveling is not just for the rich and retired,” the author said in a recent interview. “I hope more people are able to use what I have learned to make their own travel dreams a reality. This event will be a fun way to do that.”
Wright started her travels back in 2009, with the goal to visit 30 countries to celebrate her upcoming thirtieth birthday, despite a failing real estate business and nearly living out of her car to make the trip happen. Since then, she has traveled, lived, or worked in 29 countries around the world and many parts of the United States, sharing her tips and lessons learned in the hopes of inspiring others to take action on their own dreams.
“The Unencumbered Traveler: How to travel on any budget, make money, and see the world,” will be released on August 20th on Amazon both in print and digital format, with other distribution channels to follow shortly. Liz Wright is a graduate of the University of Utah, and since 2009 has traveled, lived, or worked in 29 countries around the world and over half of the United States. Before starting her nomadic adventures, she worked for several years in the hospitality and timeshare industry as well as in direct sales, and currently runs several businesses remotely.
