City Of Austin Announces Inaugural Go19th Juneteenth Calendar
Austin, Texas - In honor of the federal Juneteenth holiday, The City of Austin is proud to announce the launch of a one-stop online calendar designed to showcase the abundance of celebratory events happening throughout the area during the entire month of June. This unique project aims to serve as the definitive resource for Texans and visitors alike seeking immersive experiences that commemorate Juneteenth's rich cultural heritage and enduring message of freedom.
The City of Austin partnered with online media outlet soulciti on the guide in part because they said that the partnership will allow Central Texas to continue providing a comprehensive platform for Texans to explore the rich cultural tapestry of the state. "The Go19th calendar is a vital resource for residents and visitors alike. The variety of events listed on the calendar will help foster a deeper understanding of an important part of our history and the diverse communities that make Texas unique," Assistant City Manager Stephanie Hayden-Howard said.
