The 7th Annual European Product Design Award Ceremony Concludes in Resounding Success at the Design Museum Brussels

Design Museum Brussels, Belgium - May 29th, 2024 - The Design Museum Brussels was abuzz with creativity and innovation as it hosted the prestigious European Product Design Award (EPDA) Winners' Ceremony on May 8th. This grand event, now in its seventh year, brought together over 100 talented designers from around the globe to celebrate outstanding achievements in product design across a multitude of disciplines and sectors.
The evening commenced with an inspiring opening speech by Hossein Farmani, the Founder & President of the European Product Design Award, setting the tone for an evening of recognition and celebration. The awards were presented by a distinguished panel of guest speakers, including Arnaud Bozzini, Director of the Design Museum Brussels, and Celine Vainsel, Director of Administration for Cultural Affairs, Sports, and Social Tourism within the French Community Commission in Belgium.
Among the prominent design companies in attendance were: Designability, Casa Vigar S.L., Dark At Night Nv, and MODYN, alongside talented students from the Savannah College of Art and Design, Royal College of Art, German University In Cairo and Folkwang University of Art were honored with prestigious distinctions.
Reflecting on the Winners' Celebration, Hossein Farmani expressed, "The EPDA Award Ceremony was a remarkable testament to the transformative power of design. It was an honor to recognize and celebrate the extraordinary talents shaping the future of design and creating solutions that profoundly impact our daily lives."
Arnaud Bozzini, Director of the Design Museum Brussels, also highlighted the importance of their collaboration with EPDA, stating, "Being a strong partner of the EPDA holds great significance for the Design Museum Brussels. We are not only a museum dedicated to the history of design, but we also provide a perspective on contemporary design."
The evening was a tribute to the exceptional accomplishments of EPDA designers, with winning works showcased and accolades awarded on stage. The celebration continued with a lavish cocktail dinner reception, providing a perfect setting for professionals to connect, share insights, and revel in their shared passion for innovation and creative expression. The vibrant ambiance highlighted sustainable and inclusive designs, significantly enhancing the overall experience. During the reception, attendees had the unique opportunity to mingle with award winners, esteemed jury members, ambassadors, and press representatives, creating a vibrant and engaging networking environment.
