Los objetivos de este curso son:
Diseñar y analizar estructuras de acero. Las estructuras de concreto armado se ven en un curso especializado.
Diseñar y analizar vigas, marcos, portales y estructuras de varios niveles, obteniendo sus gráficos de fuerza cortante, momento flector, deformaciones, esfuerzos y las reacciones respectivas en los apoyos.
A partir de estos resultados, aprenderá a generar los planos de la estructura basado en los casos y combinaciones de carga.
Revisión y diseño de las conexiones mecánicas entre los miembros estructurales ya sea mediante pernos, soldadura, braquets, nervaduras y placas.
Obtención de la memoria detalla de análisis y cálculo de la estructura.
Análisis estático, dinámico y cargas por viento.
Diagramas de cortante, momento flexionante, reacciones y deformaciones.
Cálculo y diseño de miembros estructurales y conexiones.
