IMCO Industries has been selected by IMOD to supply exterior LED lights for IDF Tank Transporters

Nesher, Israel, July 14, 2016 – Imco Industries, Ltd., (TASE: IMCO) a global provider of electrical harnesses, control boxes, electromechanical devices and LED Lights for military applications, announced today that its state-of-the-art exterior LED lights have been selected by Israeli Ministry of Defense Procurement and Production Directorate (PPD) for a project of upgrading IDF Tank Transporters.

Imco breaks new ground as the industry’s superior designer and manufacturer of LED lights for military applications. Its flexible and compact design allows easy fitting into the constrained spaces of military vehicles and equipment. The modern LED Lights will be installed onto the Tank Transporters to make them noticed by other drivers from long distance and in bed weather conditions.

The goal of the new system is safety, to prevent accidents caused by drivers' wrong judgement of the Tank Transporter width. Therefore, in addition to powerful rear LED Lights, LED vehicle markers will be installed alongside the tank transporters.

Three powerful LED work lamps will be installed onto the Tank Transporter to enable sufficient lighting during loading and unloading of tanks from the transporter.
