Full-Day Workshop By Ichs To Take Place At Kazan Forum In Russia On May 16, 2024
The International Economic Forum in Kazan, Russia, entitled "Russia - Islamic World: KazanForum" will feature a one-day workshop by the Islamic Chamber of Halal Services (ICHS) on May 16th, 2024. This workshop, held at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Center during Russia's XV International Economic Forum, aims to bring together diverse perspectives from different countries to explore and capitalize on global opportunities in the halal industry.
"We're very excited to be at the KazanForum this year, and recognize the profound significance of the Forum and what it means for the Halal Industry," says Ashraf El Tanbouly, CEO of the ICHS. "Our workshop is centered around uniting perspectives for sustainable growth within the Halal industry, taking into account all of the diverse voices that will be present."
KazanForum serves as the primary federal platform for business interaction between Russia and the countries of the Islamic world, seeking to strengthen trade and economic, scientific and technical, educational, social, and cultural ties between the regions of the Russian Federation and the countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
The upcoming workshop by ICHS is entitled "Halal Convergence: Uniting Perspectives for Sustainability," promises to be a pivotal gathering of industry leaders, experts, and stakeholders.
Taking place from 10:00 AM to 17:00 PM on May 16th, 2024, the full-day workshop will feature three panel discussion sessions, providing a comprehensive platform for dialogue and collaboration. These sessions include:
- Session 1: Panel Discussion - "Navigating the Future: Standardizing & regulating Halal"
- Session2: Panel Discussion - "Halal Trade Dynamics: Private Sector Synergies and Trade Organizations"
- Session 3: Panel Discussion - "Halal Horizons Unveiled: Governmental and Chambers of Commerce Perspectives"
Each session will feature a number of experts and key players from the global Halal industry, converging at KazanForum to deliver their expertise and insights. Distinguished speakers include H.E. Dr. Hisham Aljadhai, Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority SFDA, Ms.Fawzia Peer, Vice President of Minara Chamber of Commerce, H.E. Ihsan Ovut, Secretary General SMIIC, and many others.
