The team got a new sponsor Tilaknagar Industries Ltd for 2007-2008 season, the sponsorship helped the team to train at a proper training facilities, recruit coaches, pay the players and support staff.

PIFA Director & UEFA B licensed coach Nirvan Shah took over the team after sacking coach Nelson, when the team suffered 2 loses against Sea View SC (0-1), Income Tax (1-4) and tied against Mumbai Muslims (1-1), securing one point from 3 games. The team scored only 2 goals.
